Guidelines for Abstract Presentation

Late-Breaking Clinical Trial Session

Abstracts of Late breaking research including novel, timely and important work in the field of cardiology will be selected as Late-Breaking Clinical Trial.

  • Date & Time: Thursday, April 27, 2017, 11:06 AM - 12:18 PM
  • Location: Presentation Theater, Level 1
  • Presentation Guidelines
    1. Materials: MS PowerPoint or Mac Keynotes, up to 15 slides
    2. Time: Total 12 min. (8 min. of speech, 4 min. of Q&A)
    3. For MS Users, set up the slides size for 'On-screen Show (4:3)' and number slides from '1' Help
    4. Do not use 'Rehearsal Timings' function of Microsoft PowerPoint to prevent playing all slides by itself.
    5. Presenters are required to bring their own presentation files with them in person
    6. Presenters are required to visit Preview Room no later than TWO hours prior to the session¡¯s starting time

  2. The presenters will receive Cash rewards of USD 500
  3. Abstracts will be published in a supplement issue of "The Journal of the American College of Cardiology (JACC)"

Moderated Oral Abstract Competition Session

Abstracts selected for oral presentation will be assigned to the Moderated Oral Abstract Competition Sessions. Best presenters will be chosen by renowned moderators and panelists after reviewing the presentations.

  • Date & Time: Tuesday, April 25, 2017, 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM
                            Wednesday, April 26, 2017, 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM
                            Thursday, April 27, 2017, 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM
  • Location: Abstract Zone in Exhibition Hall, Level 3
  • Presentation Guidelines
    1. Materials: MS PowerPoint or Mac Keynotes, up to 15 slides
    2. Time: Total 10 min. (6 min of speech, 4 min of Q&A)

Abstracts selected for E-poster presentation will be assigned to the Moderated E-Poster Abstract Competition Sessions. Best presenters will be chosen by renowned moderators and panelists after reviewing the presentations.

  • Date & Time: Tuesday, April 25, 2017, 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM
  • Location: E-Poster Zone in Exhibition Hall, Level 3
  • Presentation Guidelines
    1. Materials: MS PowerPoint or Mac Keynotes, up to 6 slides. (recommended)
    2. Time: Total 10 min. (6 min. of speech, 4 min. of Q&A)
    3. For MS Users, set up the slides size for 'Wide-screen Show (16:9)' and number slides from '1' Help
    4. E-poster needs to be shortened briefly to summarize the contents of your presentation.
    5. Presenters are required to use the TCTAP 2017 presentation template to create your slides.
    6. Do not use 'Rehearsal Timings' function of Microsoft PowerPoint to prevent playing all slides by itself.
    7. Presenters are required to bring their own presentation files with them in person
    8. Presenters are required to visit Preview Room no later than TWO hours prior to the session¡¯s starting time
